Bio
Born in Naples (Italy) in 1981, Dany got graduated in 2005, getting a degree in languages and literature (English and Spanish) that has helped her to get in touch with artists and people from all over the world.
Dany started using a camera when she was still quite young, having always been fascinated by the idea she could fix images and moments on paper. "Suspiria" is a pseudonym she uses as an artist, first because she's a Dario Argento fan (the very first horror movie she watched was "La Chiesa" by Dario Argento) and second because it evokes a feeling of mistery, a halo of darkness that her works generally reflect.
Her images can generally say a million of things without even speaking. More than once the observers find themselves attracted by the fact that whenever they look at her works, they find a new detail they hadn't noticed before, since the attention to the detail is one of the distinctive traits of this young artist.
She works as freelancer for several magazines (Italian and overseas), models, bands and publicity agencies. She has worked as official photographer and designer for magazines and agencies like Skyscraper Magazine, Idee Innovative, InsightAgency, BeatnikPress (where she also won an award for the best t-shirt design for the band "November"). Journalist for one of the biggest horror portals in Italy, Horror Magazine, Dany has also been asked to write a book for a quite famous editor, but she won't be able to talk much about this project until when the book will come out to be sold in libraries and comic shops. One of her latest projects is the design and management of a website dedicated to the tv series "The Young Riders" (http://www.tyritalia.com), a tribute website to gather all the "riders" fans from Italy and to play a role play game. At the moment she's travelling all around the world because of her work as translator and interpreter at a training and research company in Naples.

Travels: You might never find her on the beach as she doesn't really love play the lizard as many other people do during the summer. Dany loves adventurous and cultural travels and tries to have as much as she can throughout the year.
Pets: Ofelia, a black and white European cat she found and brought home 13 years ago. Bandit, german shepherd, is living with her fiance.

Nata a Napoli (Italia) nel 1981, Dany si è laureata nel 2005 in Lingue e Letterature Straniere (Inglese e Spagnolo) e questo l'ha molto aiutata ad entrare in contatto con artisti e amici da tutto il mondo.
Dany ha iniziato a usare la macchina fotografica quando era ancora piuttosto giovane, essendo da sempre affascinata dall'idea che si potessero fissare momenti e immagini sulla carta. "Suspiria" è lo pseudonimo che utilizza come artista, primo perchè è una fan di Dario Argento (il primissimo film horror che lei abbia mai visto fu "La Chiesa" di Dario Argento) e secondo perchè evoca un sentimento di mistero, un alone di oscurità che i suoi lavori generalmente riflettono.
Le sue immagini riescono a dire un milione di cose senza nemmeno parlare. Più di una volta, chi li osserva ha notato un dettaglio nuovo al quale prima non fatto caso: l'attenzione al dettaglio è infatti uno dei tratti distintivi di questa giovane artista.
Lavora come freelancer per vari giornali (italiani ed esteri), modelle, gruppi musicali e agenzie pubblicitarie. Negli anni ha lavorato per giornali e agenzie come Skyscraper Magazine, Idee Innovative, InsightAgency, BeatnikPress (dove ha anche vinto un premio per il miglior artwork da t-shirt per la band "November"). Giornalista per uno dei portali horror più grandi e antichi in Italia, Horror Magazine, a Dany è anche stato chiesto di scrivere un libro per un importante editore italiano, ma non potrà parlare molto del progetto almeno fino a quando il libro non vedrà la luce in librerie e fumetterie. Uno dei suoi ultimi progetti è il design e la gestione di un sito web dedicato a una serie tv, "I Ragazzi della Prateria". Il sito web è un vero e proprio tributo alla serie e vuole raccogliere tutti i fan italiani, oltre ad ospitare anche un gioco di ruolo molto attivo. Al momento Dany viaggia molto anche a causa del proprio lavoro di interprete e traduttore per una società di formazione e ricerca a Napoli.
